-Mark your calendars: the next iPhone will be revealed sometime between June 5th and June 9th, 2011, as Apple has already booked those dates at the Moscone Center in San Francisco for this year’s WWDC. Apple’s next iPhone is traditionally announced at each year’s WWDC event held at the Moscone Center sometime in June.
-Supplies of nearly every model of MacBook Pro are constrained, pointing to an imminent update as early as this week, according to 9to5Mac. Apple last updated the MacBook Pro on April 13th. The new models are expected to bring some of the MacBook Air features and the new Sandy Bridge CPU from Intel.
-Based on what we've heard, however, Apple is planning on making the move to all digital sooner than expected at their retail stores. Apple is working towards eliminating boxed software and presumably focusing sales through the Mac App Store. The report also notes that these plans fall in line with Apple's new Personal Setup for Mac that will teach each new Mac owner how to use the Mac App Store.
-The New York Plaza has placed an iPad in each guest room to provide concierge services and more, according to TiPb.
Some of the features include ordering of room service, restaurant reservations, wake up calls, city guides, check airline schedules and even printing of boarding passes. The iPad can even control the rooms lighting, heating and air conditioning as well as offering guests' access to the web.
