-The new OS is being tested on all manner of iOS devices including iPods, iPads and iPhones. Also interesting is that we knew that iPhone 3GS’s getting tested. It isn’t immediately clear if the final version of iOS 5 will support iPhone 3GS, but we do know Apple is testing it.

-A couple days ago we shared with you a video of Jay Freeman (Saurik) talking about why you should jailbreak your iDevice. This video was quite interesting and showcased quite a few tweaks many people knew nothing about. Apparently Apple wasn’t very fond with this video as if you now go to our last post you will see that the embedded video doesn’t load; rather you are presented with a take down notice. This video has been removed because its content violated YouTube’s Terms of Service. The person who uploaded this video said that he didn’t even receive a reason why the video was taken down.Apple recently seems like it is taking every measure to prevent the message of jailbreaking from spreading. When corporations started showing interest in advertising to the jailbreaking scene Apple contacted the company directly to end this entry into the jailbreaking scene. Now another attempt to spread the message of jailbreaking was brought to a halt with no given reason.

-After a long delay, Apple finally launched the white iPhone 4 last week. Initial teardown photos of the white iPhone 4 reveal a new camera lens and a modified proximity sensor. According to the report, the lens remains the same, but the "magnitude of the incident light" between the black and white models is a different size. When comparing the teardown photos to the black model, the proximity sensor looks changed as well. The exact change is currently unclear, but hopefully it fixes issues that were prominent in the black model. Analysts believe the white iPhone 4 could sell up to 1.5 million units each quarter until the release of the iPhone 5.
