-When the Push option is turned on, and if your e-mail service provider supports Push, information updates are sent to your iOS device as your provider receives them. (MobileMe, Microsoft Exchange, Yahoo! Mail, and some others support Push.) However, leaving Push on all the time consumes battery power. Unless you have up-to-the-minute messaging needs, you should turn Push off and use the Fetch option, which checks for messages periodically.
-France Telecom CEO Stephane Richard said the next iPhone will be smaller and thinner during an interview with AllThingsD. Richard also confirms that his company is working with Apple towards a smaller SIM card standard.
-For all of you Android lovers out there a new tweak will be released into Cydia within the next 48 hours called AndroidLoader. AndroidLoader will allow you to view all your apps on a single page with a tap or slide gesture, Android style. It will cost you $2.99 and will only work with the iPhone or iPod Touch; no iPad support yet.Personally I am not sure if the AndroidLoader tweak is for me, but I am sure it will appeal to a lot of users. For a better idea of the AndroidLoader tweak you can watch the demonstration video below…
-A new app called Move'n Call ($1.99) lets you make a call with just a wave of your hand. As the video shows, first you train your iPhone to recognize a gesture and then you associate that gesture with a contact. Then to call the person, you simply make that gesture and your iPhone dials the contact. You can train it to recognize as many different gestures as you want. It's a clever idea, and I think we'll be seeing a lot more of this sort of thing.
