Many Gevey Sim users have issues with the caller id function of their iphone 4 . The Name of the Caller is not being Displayed when they receive an incoming call in spite of the phone number being in the contact list .
Method 1 : For Non Jailbroken iPhone’s
You need to add ‘+‘ followed by your country code to every number in your contact list . For India it will be +91 , for UK +44 like that . But adding that for every contact in the contact list can be cumbersome .
Method 2 : Jailbroken iPhone’s
1- Search and install Caller ID Format Fix in Cydia . This is a free to download jailbreak tweak available in BigBoss Repository .
2- you need to navigate in to the filesystem of your iOS device and delete a certain key and string. To do that, you obviously need software. i-Funbox for Windows or iPhoneExplorer for Mac.
3- Launch whatever software you are going to use for this and navigate to this path:
/System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/PhoneFormats/UIMobileCountryCodes.plist
4- Right click on UIMobileCountryCodes.plist and open it in the notepad.
5- Change the 202 to 001
6- Change the gr to (your country 2 letter code e.g. it for Italy, fr for France)
7- Save and Reboot your iPhone.
