Stop Baby Crying app

Singapore, Singapore - Morning Dew Games today is pleased to introduce Stop Baby Crying 1.0.1 for iOS, their new Utility app designed to help stop babies 1 - 3 months old from crying by playing a continuous, soothing sound for them to hear. The sounds included are: an adult human heartbeat, amniotic fluid, radio static, a plastic bag, a jet engine, or a vacuum cleaner. By offering both natural, metabolic sounds and sounds containing white noise, the app allows the user to determine the most calming aural environment for their infant through simple experiment.

Both anecdotal and scientific evidence suggest the effectiveness of metabolic sounds and white noise in helping to calm crying infants. Metabolic sounds such as a heartbeat or the flow of amniotic fluid resemble sounds heard in the womb, a comfortable, low-stress environment. By replicating the sound of that environment, Stop Baby Crying can produce a natural reaction of peacefulness in the baby. Similarly, white noise (random noise with approximately equal amounts of all frequencies) can have a calming effect by mimicking the many different sounds in the womb. White noise has also been shown to effectively mask other sounds in the environment. Finally, white noise may have a direct influence on brainwaves, as evidenced by its successful use in stopping some seizures.
