Apple board member Al Gore hints at two iPhones coming
The October 4 launch date has now been widely reported, though all reports cite the same source. And now, according to Appolicious, Apple board member (and former U.S. vice president) Al Gore has referred to the launch at a conference he was addressing yesterday, saying, “Not to mention the new iPhones coming out next month. That was a plug.” Of course, the bloggers picked up on the plural, speculating that this was confirmation not only of the launch but that two phones are coming. It's still all rumor, of course, but I think it would be a smart move for Apple to have a low-end phone with prepaid plans.
