Apple may be planning on discontinuing production of the iPod classic and iPod shuffle, according to a new story published by rumors. The story stems from the fact that, in the face of the iPod sales making up such a small proportion of Apple’s earnings, the company is no longer interested in selling the classic and shuffle when the iPod touch and the iPod nano can do exactly the same job.
